Bob and I both agree that moving to Prudential has been the best business decision we've made. In the five years prior to our move, we experienced four managers. Chris Simmers, our fifth manager, is by far the best. She is the most professional and knowledgeable leader in the industry. Chris is a great mentor and she is always available when you need her, regardless of how busy she is. Chris is a great communicator and motivator, which is especially important in the current market. We are also thrilled with the technology and education Prudential offers. Prudential is fortunate to have Chris as a representative. She keeps us informed and encourages us to take advantage of all the educational opportunities the company offers. We believe we are the most informed and trained agents in the business. My husband Jerry and I have recently become part of the Prudential team. I can say with complete honesty that Chris Simmers is by far the best manager that we have EVER had and we have been with three other real estate companies in our career. She is so sweet and helpful that she makes it a pleasure to be with Prudential. I’ve never seen a manager give so much of their time and energy to help every agent in the office. We’ve never had that before and it’s really nice. Chris is very on board with what is happening in our industry and encourages her agents to do the same and to stay involved with the local Board. She is hands on with community projects as well as The Sunshine Kids organization. We have also been very impressed with the way things are run in our office as well as the education and all the programs that are available to us here. We have never had that before either. The Prudential website offers so much to both its clients and its agents. In fact, there are some features available on the company’s website that I could only get through my contact management software before, which may eliminate my need for it and save me money. The regularity and availability of classes and other opportunities is terrific. Chris is never too busy to answer a question or help me to make the best use of these features. The rest of the staff in the office is incredibly supportive and there is plenty of equipment. If there is a problem, someone takes care of it right away. Chris has great people skills and knows how to show her appreciation of people. Jerry and I can’t imagine anyone wanting to leave her. We are very pleased to be here and feel we will be able to grow our business even more.

Ken and I evaluated our options for quite some time. There were a couple of things that particularly drew me to join Ken at Prudential. The main thing for me was given the current market conditions I wanted to be affiliated with a company that could not only withstand the hard times, but would offer the support (and a name) that I knew I could trust and that my prospective clients would trust. Once I joined Prudential and went through the initial RealTech training I quickly found out how dedicated the company is to enhancing the technology available to its agents. This is really important to me as a new agent. It gives me something to use immediately that showcases my abilities over some of even the most tenured agents. The advanced agent website and Photostory and Home Suite tools wow the clients and it's FREE for us to use. It’s been just a few months since I joined Prudential Connecticut Realty after leaving The Corcoran Group, and I continue to be amazed by Chris and the company. I joined Prudential after several years with Coldwell Banker. There were some major factors in my decision to join this office. First, I was impressed with the company’s dominance in the marketplace. Second, I was thrilled with the availability of cutting-edge technology. Being able to manage our own personal websites, being able to set up a website for each of our listings with a HomeSuite and the availability of Real Ping technology, definitely gives Prudential agents an edge. Third, I’m overwhelmed with the quantity and quality of free training available at Prudential. It is probably apparent that I am happy in my new "home" with Prudential as I see a very promising future here.

I was hired by Rich Muttick in February of 2008. I have to say after a brief interview and an impressive tour of the office and staff, I felt right at home. I had the pleasure of working with several agents Rich already recruited and was sold on what they had to tell me about the office and Rich in general. He has created a pleasant, comfortable and professional environment that I felt honored to join. I especially feel the support and interest in my personal success that was lacking in my last office. I recently came back to Prudential after spending a year at another company. There are two primary reasons I made the choice to return. First, is the spirit of teamwork throughout the office and the value that comes from being part of a group that has a large market share. The company more vibrant and social and everyone shares the spirit that we succeed best when we succeed together. Second is the leadership. Because our manager is not an active agent, I feel completely comfortable discussing any aspect of an ongoing listing or transaction with him knowing that there is no conflict of interest or jeopardy of doing a disservice to my clients by revealing confidential information. His advice is based on real experience and his solutions are always fair. This is a great place to work!

I became a real estate agent nearly two years ago and joined H Pearce real estate in Branford. I went there because a fellow classmate and former first Selectman in the town of Orange, Mitch Goldblatt, convinced me to. I knew several people in the office and quickly took to the industry and developed a real love of selling residential real estate. I took as many classes as I could and developed my technological skills as best I could at a small organization. But something was missing and I grew frustrated with the short sightedness of management. I grew concerned with my future in an organization that had seemed to have lost its way. I had three managers in 18 months! So, I decided to go interview with other organizations and immediately new that Carol Anne Pepe and Prudential Connecticut Realty was the place to go because of the professionalism, experience and management skills. I knew upon meeting Carol Anne Pepe that she was a decision maker. She is hands on and always available. She gets to know your strengths and weaknesses. She is no pushover. I need a manager with that type of style. One who is capable of developing and shaping my talents. Besides my manager, I was drawn to the organization by the professionalism and knowledge of the people I met at the company. As a new agent I look for certain qualities in the company that I choose to associate myself with. I am very pleased with my move to Prudential Connecticut Realty. I came from Century 21 Today where I did not receive the support, education and leadership a new agent needs to make it. To me the most important part of my growth as a Realtor is the opportunity for learning, support and a sense of belonging. At Prudential our leader Sue makes herself available to all agents, provides extra in house training sessions and always starts every sales meeting with the company’s Core Values, Growth, Relationships, Authenticity, Empowerment, Service and Compassion. This says it all! This office has a team spirit that I appreciate. Positive Energy...
I've had my real estate license since 2005 and worked on a part-time basis in Fairfield County for about a year. I moved to Guilford in 2006 and contemplated whether or not I would continue to pursue real estate. I signed with an independently owned Coldwell Banker office, believing that an independent owner could provide more leads and allow agents themselves to work more independently. Unfortunately, this particular owner did not create a positive work environment for the agents.
After a particularly positive experience working on a sale with a Prudential agent, I was approached by Steve Richards. My initial impressions of Steve were also very positive. I was impressed with his sincerity and his in-depth knowledge about Prudential. He's a great spokesperson! After the negative experience at Coldwell Banker, I wasn't sure I was going to pursue real estate at all. I thanked Steve for his time and promised him I'd call him if I were interested in working with Prudential. One thing he said to me that was more powerful than anything else was, "Give another real estate company a chance. Don't form your opinion of the industry based on your past experience." I called him later that week and signed with Prudential.
Prudential is great fit for me. I am comfortable with the size of the company and the available resources for the agents and clients. Prudential's use of technology is also ahead of other real estate companies, which is a requirement for doing business today. Prudential agents are a wonderful, down-to-earth, approachable group that I immediately felt part of. Going to orientation only reinforced that feeling. Listening to the Chairman and CEO of the company speak about his business philosophy is a rare opportunity that we as agents should be grateful for. Most CEOs don't make the effort to get to know their employees on that level. All in all, being with Prudential has been a positive experience for me. I recommend it highly!
